Two young girls without support and much cycling experience made it across the United States without taking the easiest, shortest, or quickest route. I know we surprised a lot of people along the way, including ourselves.
We have many more stories to tell of our good fortune and the kind hospitality we have encountered, but for the moment we are going to bask in the sun on the coast of the Pacific. We will also tally up our total mileage which is somewhere over 4,000 miles!!!!!
Yay for Oregon!
Many thanks to the generous donations of Karl Meyer, Matt & Yvonne Devlin, Jerry & Marcy Monkman, Walter & Shirley Donelson and Ron & Nancy.

Hi Maya and Rose,
Congratulations, were're very proud of both of you. Of course we knew you would make it! Rest up and enjoy looking at what the coast is like.Wish we were there to welcome you to the end but are glad Rose's parents are and Maya we knew you would rather see Andrew than us! We'll be glad to have you come home on the 26th.

WOW!
Nice job ladies!
Hope you both enjoy yourselves in your week stay in Oregon, I bet it seems strange to have the luxury of an automobile to take you around. But remember those bikes can take you places at no cost.
See you both soon. ~annie

Congratulations on your achievement. You will remember this trip for the rest of your lives. I only wish I could have caught up to you. A couple of days of riding with others may have helped me go on...I don't really know.
Anyway, congratulations again and good luck in the future.
