We are sitting in a gas station/rv park somewhere in wyoming waiting out a thunderstorm by drinking coffee and watching fox news. Woohoo 12 miles to jenny lake!
So I wonder if I am the only reader of this blog who wondered how the heck they found a gas station in Wyoming with internet access...then Rose informs me she can text message to the blog using her phone. Yeah, right! I say as if you have a wireless phone or something. Keep on pedaling...
Congrats on your great progress so far. Keep those spokes spinning, but remember to enjoy the beautiful creation you are experiencing on this leg of your journey. From the cycling trucker you met in Virginia, Wid (of Amherst, MA).
yo you guys! it's ries from syracuse. i stumbled across this and i think its so f'n cool and i can live vicariously through you two as my bike is sitting in shambles with two flat tires and a rusty chain. i could fix it, im just too lazy. that's too lazy to fix my bike, let alone ride it.
enjoy the ride from here on out, believe it or not, time is limited. looks like you two are making great time, possibly ahead of our pace from last summer. i just got your site from your brother and read the whole thing. keep up the good work. Matt D'Alessio
You are mentioned in today's GFLD Recorder in Irmarie Jones "Just Plain Neighbors" column (8/1/06). I'm sure Carmen will clip it for you. You can also see it on-line at www.recorder.com
We are in a heatwave here and it may even hit 100 today. Hope it is cooler for you in WY than it is here in MA.
I check your website daily and looking forward to next update :-)
